Friends of the Earth US (FoE US) is a national environmental organization dedicated to protecting the planet from environmental degradation and preserving the biological, cultural and ethnic diversity of the planet. Friends of the Earth empowers citizens to have an influential voice in decisions affecting their environment.

Friends of the Earth International (FoEI) is one of the largest federations of organizations committed to the preservation, restoration and rational use of the environment. FoEI was founded in 1971. There are now over 60 independent FoE member groups all over the world that campaign internationally, nationally and locally on the major environmental issues.
