Solar Fuel Station Calculator

Friends of the Earth has developed a Solar Fuel Station Calculator to assist municipalities and businesses in determining the costs and benefits associated with installing solar fuel stations for electric vehicles.  The calculator walks the user through a series of questions and provides answers for the following:

• Station Costs
• Net Present Value
• Internal Rate of Return
• Gas Cost Savings
• Grid Cost Savings
• GHG Emissions Reduced (annually / tons of CO2)
• GHG Cost Savings (savings associated with GHG emissions reductions based on a range of dollar values assigned to carbon emissions)
